Here is a table of solar and wind projects under construction or committed for 2017 totalling 2256 MW.

No IFN projects on the list.

I am not worried by this.  It does show just how dynamically changing electricity generation is.  I earlier observed fast falling battery costs and projections would be obliging IFN to endlessly recalculate opportunity and capex.  There is plenty of room for new projects and IFN has a number of shovel-ready ones at hand. Financing does not look difficult either.

IFN's 2017 should see:

Refinancing of existing debt to lower the cost

Capacity increasing and value-adding either through new wind or batteries

Corporate activity
