cugs, you have nailed it. this was the reason for yesterday's sell off. Just did a bit of research. This happened Monday in Cameroon (monday night our time). that explains the big sell off yesterday.
I will go out on a limb here and say that we will now see a cautious recovery today. Yesterday, our time details were sketchy and there was a belief that it could have been the Nigerian army. It was in fact rebels. Also I see that calm has returned to the area on Tuesday (last night our time).
This is not good and I hope the govt there can round up the rebels quickly and end this. But based on the fact calm has returned, Nigeria was not involved and the picture is now clearer as to what actually happened we may see a cautious return to CVI today.
