    I almost wonder SOLG is just trying to flush out a bid.

    I also wonder if BHP try to put it to investors with optionality.

    i.e - you can do a cap raising and kick the can down the road into better pricing. A years funding at say 10-15p.

    OR.

    We will buy you out now for 30p. - then they point to just how badly everything has been run and in this market.... Hmmmm. Do investors just sell into the bid?
