    I suspect that the failed July raising finally convinced him that the only winner of his continued feud with the Canadians was BHP. Maybe a change in the financing environment as well. Who knows for sure.

    Either way, it was big of him to step back and throw his support behind the Canadians, which he appears to have done unreservedly.

    I hope the Canadians can get a decent price for Cascabel, 40-45p at least. Even this price is a bargain for Cascabel, but the company isn't really in a position of strength, especially the share price. What sort of value are you looking at?

    Either way, you're right in that investing in this company has been a poor way to play the commodities game. Hopefully Nick will prove very big again and that this company's business model can actually work for its external shareholders because it has become very hard to argue a case for owning DGR instead of Solgold itself.
