I would actually be happy with a consolidation period before chasing growth. With growth there is a risk that the sure profits from the current program could be fritted away chasing growth. The time to chase growth was BEFORE the find, not after the value has been established and the growth has to come at a high cost.
To show this point. The best gains I have made with this play was when nobody wanted it. The same applied to almost all my holdings.
