Ramsay Health Care is a strong and well run Private Hospital company. However some of their faults are;
(1) Difficult for Hospital Managers to progress. One of their top managers has just shifted to Robert Cooke's Healthscope. He was running their biggest hopsital Greenslopes.
(2) Some Health Funds annoyed with their charging of patient incidentals.
(3) Late adopters of case payments hence missed out on rate increase through length of stay reduction
(4) Healthscope stronger competitor now with Robert Cooke in charge.
(5) The company believes in the myth of the Ramsay Way.
