Makes me smile when all the newspaper columnists come out with stories about how a slowdown in China is going to rattle markets and the big resources houses that are dependant on it's sustained growth. A protracted slowdown may indeed affect the BHP and Rio and undermine confidence. But what impact will that have on the likes of Telstra ? I would have thought it would only make it a more valuable investment given its dominant position in the market and growth strategy and solid dividend steam. Now I'm not a big investor, but am I missing something here ?
