AUSTRALIA'S largest private hospitals operator, Ramsay Health Care, expects demand for healthcare services to grow and has raised its core earnings guidance for the 2009 full financial year. Ramsay has booked a net profit for the first half of $53.75 million for the six months to December 31, up 5.5 per cent on the prior corresponding period. Core profit lifted 11.6 per cent to $68.7 million.
