The article that appeared in "The West" is a "Sponsored Article". This means that is was an article that the company wrote and has paid to be published by being a sponsor of the paper. Matt Birney is a sub-editor of the paper. What that means is that he "edits" articles that are "submitted" to him for publication in The West as a result of a sponsorship agreement that MRD has with the paper. MB did not write this article about MRD. It is written by MRD, most likely in this case, by the company secretary. MB just trims, or "edits", the article to fit into the space provided to MRD as a result of the sponsorship agreement.
