Nothing too sinister I hope. Most likely day traders exiting at EOD and/or people playing games to keep the price low to accumulate more.
It's the way the market works. Pro's use market psychology, they target people's emotions (weak hands) by selling it down or dumping a small amount to keep the prices low. The people they target get frustrated sell it down further by selling at a loss or small profit because they think it's going backwards.
Determination and persistence is key IMO. Hold with conviction if you believe in it
