Industry experts seem pretty confident they'll happen and won't have any cobalt in them (but will still use lithium, which In sure many of us are holding), but traditionally battery developments have been slow - yet resources are pouring in now.
How long will it take before these science projects become a threat?
I've heard the science will take 2-5 years, and then another 5-10 of pilot production to ready for actual mass production.
