    A few thoughts:

    The number of EVs is currently 0.1% of vehicles so even if the batteries did last forever or were recycled with 100% efficiency, that's a lot of battery-grade nickel and cobalt.

    Substitution is not a concern in the next few years, especially with cobalt below $100k.
    ARL is highly leveraged to the nickel price, so yes, production increases or new production could be deleterious, but there's not much low-hanging fruit. If you're so concerned then there's producers you can look at on the TSX, but you'll be paying a premium. Leverage to the price is a two-edged sword.


    HPAL has been proven to work. Yes, many of the projects were badly run but Coral Bay etc prove that the technology works as long as you get it right.

    Potential legal claim by CleanTEQ is a complete fairy tale, or provide your evidence.

    You completely miss the major risk to ARL with your fantasy problems - the biggest risk is in getting sufficient funding in time to ride the crest of the boom.
