Some things do not add up here.
1. SSBs still need Lithium, or its a different chemistry all together2. The dangerous part is in a Li ion battery is the lithium (fuel) together with the liquid electrolyte (oxydizer). SSB remove the electrolyte, making SSBs safer by removing the oxydizer from the fire potential.
It might well be that Talga has made good progress on Talnode E, but like every time some battery breakthrough is rumored or announced, it usually turned out to be a dud. I remain sceptical.
