We have had this debate before so I will not again point out the risk of reading reports without any ability to assess the quality, validity, or motivation of their preparation both economic and political.
Let's keen it simple: would you rather build a railway over the expansive red flat dirt of the Pilbara in a first world infrastructure region or over the Dense Rain Forrest of the Congo craton in third world Africa? And which do you think would be cheaper?
Also dangerous to compare the actual cost of railways that have been built in Australia with the costs quoted for railways that are still a dream in Africa.
But good for you to have such strong convictions that SDL will still be a winnner with its high grade ore and low cost railway. Let's see what happens shall we? If you are correct and SDL has strong project value and your numbers are correct then I agree with that success with stage one and two will happen. it really will be a vindication of all your posts.
