Before we go bagging out the SI courts system and getting all our knickers in a knot we need to wait till next week, the injunction was granted till then on the request of an adjournment by Axiom wanting their legal team present to hear the case and fair enough too. The Axiom legal team from Australia had probably flown home to their families straight after the case in the High Court and SMM were probably waiting for them to board the plane to deliver their papers to Axiom and the Court of Appeal so as hard as this is we need to sit back and wait on next weeks ruling to see where we are.
If they are given leave to appeal and the injunction stays in place the Appeals court sits in November and April and so could be heard in as soon as next month of course SMM would probably just walk in the court to adjourn it as after Judge Browns ruling and their own admissions of not wanting this to go to court in the first place SMM obviously know they are actually just flogging a dead horse, how long they are let flog the horse is anyone's guess though I couldn't imagine it would be allowed to many adjournments if any till it was heard.
On another possible point could the 65 million options due next year in March expire if the case was heard in April 2015 removing another hurdle for Axiom, this is something im not 100% sure about maybe someone is more up to speed on this side of things.
One more thing, what's the difference between a blood sucking bottom dweller and a bottom dwelling blood sucker? Ones a fish and ones a lawyer.
The bottom line as much as this sucks things haven't changed AxiomKB and the people of the Solomon Islands will get their wish and that is to have this behind them. GLTA
