You could have backed in the fact Solomon Islands would sell out to China, they are possibly the most corrupt government on the planet! just ask anyone that was invested in Axiom Mining (ASX AVQ), many here on HC lots millions because of the corruption over there, i was looking to invest myself at one stage because of the lithium, but after years of battling with their mining minister (Sogavare's brother-in-law) and many court cases Axion just run out of options & money. You can bet your life the Chinese will be mining there within in year! Just spare a thought for the Solomon people - their democracy is shot now all because of their greedy "government".
To blame our government over this is total rubbish - just sayin but just maybe the timing of all this is no coincidence, maybe China can see this as an opportunity to help labors cause, labor & their mouthpieces are already milking it for all they can! Open your eye's people "these are serious times and we need serious people to solve these serious times" or something like that - right Albo?
