Guys, I think I have come up with a great idea. How about Qantas create a new sub branch just for the Unions? They can call it Qantas Union, or maybe QU just to be cool.
Qantas (mainline) can lend them a few planes to get started, they can take accross all their pilots, baggage handlers, engineers, and Mr Sheldon can be their CEO. They will have full control over their operations, so they can pay themselves whatever they wish, and can go on strike whenever they please. The only catch is that the staff will have to do a capital raising amongst themselves for working capital purposes (wages etc) - hence they will understand shareholder demands.
Then in 3 months time, when they go bankrupt, Qantas mainline will have hired new staff, can buy back the planes cheap and will have rid themselves of the Union curse.
