I agree with you Surfrat completely.
Qantas should be investing in the means to differentiate their product from all of the other brands in the market.
Mercedes Benz sell a lot of expensive cars because they have a great product.
Shaving a few dollars off baggage handlers wages etc is not going to give a significant boost to the bottom line.
The previous CEO and Board were going to go through with a leveraged equity buyout in their wisdom. Luckily for Qantas that fell through otherwise Qantas may have ceased to exist because of the GFC.
