They could reduce the cost of Housing By: Ending Negative Gearing,
Ban Foreign "Investment",
Stop Migration,
Ban Short Term Accommodation,
Place a 100% Ban on Empty Houses
They should also: Heavily Tax cash flow positive properties over a set amount,
For example those that bought a House for $60K now charging rent as if cost them $600k
Check on all Foreign Investment, and
"Student" purchased Houses to make sure they are still obeying the rules....
And still fit the requirements:
Such as living in the House,
Selling the property when course is over and they are no longer eligible,
Selling houses when they have left the Country,
Check they are not leaving Houses Empty,
Not attending Course, Etc....
All of those breaking the rules should have their Houses Sold with no compensation for them.
