Private or corporate capital is an interesting theme. Perhaps the 'company car' of old could become a more common accomodation benefit or subsidised entry to the property market.
Improving conditions for the individual Aus tax payer seems the least 'political'. Capacity to invest needs to meet availability = supply.
1) Reducing taxes, facilitating negative gearing opportunities and incentivising lending to the individual.
2) Motivating reasonable land supply and competitive building practises would be further interest areas to meet that particular homeowner/investor.
