    Exactly. The situation is now dire and getting far worse because of immigration.
    The question which many have been asking-where are all these new people supposed to live?

    If they come with money and backed by wealthy parents, they take rentals which Australians should have.
    If they buy, it is the same result.
    The government do not care a fig.

    I have a great interest in the small home movement. It is a wonderful idea, flying under the radar atm.
    You can buy or build a moveable building and many with land are more than happy to allow people to settle on there, even providing vegetable gardens etc. In return for a modest rent or in exchange for some labour on the property.

    But, no doubt the government will try to put a stop to this in some shape or form.
    Very much like vaping, but that is off topic here.

    Yes, great idea about rezoning under utilised commercial property. But I think that would end up as luxury apartments.
