The only vacant property I would move on is foreign owned property.
If Australian’s want to own a holiday unit, or keep a property for children leaving home or elderly parents, that’s their prerogative in my view, especially if becoming an involuntary landlord necessitates outlays to bring the property up to some legislated standard.
