I am widowed but my grocery bill is approx three times higher than it was for a couple five years ago, which makes the government figure of 6.5% inflation a joke
And that does not incude the new power price increase
But you have to look further for the reasons
No manufacturing
All big business foreign owned and don't pay their proper tax (or any)
Sovereignty, given away to others
More migration than the country can absorb
We are almost at the stage of being visitors in our own country and have no say in the matter
Small business also are closing down at an alarming rate
It will get much worse and IMHO worse that the great depression
