I have been dead busy today, so apart from a couple of quick squizzes, I have not posted anything. I had never even heard of the NRAS scheme, so have had a read up on it.
So this is yet another problem for tenants However it has nothing to do with privately rented properties. These unfortunate people, will simply be forced out and be at the mercy of the open market, very cruel.
Personally, even though @$$$$$$$$ rubbishes my idea, if I were in that position, I would seriously consider moving to a small country town in the bush. People are far more friendly and supportive. Why everyone wants to live in overcrowded capital cities, is beyond my comprehension. We need to get back to the land again. So long as you have a good source of water, you can grow your own fruit and vegetables. Have a woodburning stove and/or fire, perhaps keep a few chooks and earn some extra money from a side business. I have lived this type of life, both in England and here and it is very satisfying and economical.

Keystart is a wonderful scheme for low income homebuyers. They only require a 2% deposit and there is no requirement for mortgage lenders insurance payments https://www.keystart.com.au/why-keystart
