Real Estate agents have a great influence on the prices paid for homes when you consider the compounding effect over time of their relentless push for higher prices… we’re constantly bombarded with “right now is the time to get into the market!” no matter the market conditions——then add in all their underhanded tactics.
What we need to do is educate people that Real Estate agents by and large are nothing more than slick salespeople on huge commissions.
Referring to themselves as professionals alongside doctors, accountants and those with tertiary quals when they have done nothing more than completed a six week training course is sleight of hand which basically sums up the whole industry.
It’s full of uneducated spivs masquerading as professionals and “we” put our greatest asset in their hands!
AI will eventually take them out.
Don’t ever think they haven’t added to the price you pay for your home.
