Whilst I agree, Bunn, that the RE industry has lost much of its professionalism since the 70's/80's, to posit that agents hold more power than market dynamics is a preposterous notion. That said, how estate agents and the broader markets operate should be taught in high schools as a mandatory subject. Therein lies the deficit of understanding and ignorance is no man's friend.
