They exist in many areas,
often but not always owned by Foreign "Investors",
One of the most expensive Houses on the Gold Coast Islands would be an example.
It does get some occasional un-necessary work done to it,
But the people do not live there....
There are many properties like this vacant,
Often increasing more in value per year than multiples of the average wage.
They are left Vacant to create false demand,
Further increasing Rent and House Prices.
It is also usually a requirement for Foreign Investors,
And Foreign Students to live in the House.
These rules are not being followed,
Nor is anyone checking....
