Dudes, dont expect management to be working for MFS shareholders they are trying to work out the mess for the lenders so that once finished they can get jobs with them.
People are fickle - many believe, like i do, where there is smoke there is fire - MFS brand has been damaged by the closure of funds and the problem in NZ. These are mums and dads and their life savings. they want maximum return for no risk. Once they smell a risk, even remote they will move their move and all of a sudden another funds stops redemptions. Just needs a story on a current affair of a little old couple unable to eat and sleep because they have money locked in an MFS to send them running
MFS is lucky John Laws has retired. Imagine if he was negative on MFS.
As to maintaining branding, MFS should have arranged a consultant that specialise in maintianing brand and advertising etc . But havent seen a thing.
Dudes MFS is not a darling anymore and doesnt matter how you tart it up, it will still be a has been.
