re: solving schapelle - my experience in kievscien "I would like to think that the security in all aircraft and baggage handling areas is sufficient to prevent either."

Sorry banjar, but our mob are as hopeless as the Indos on security.
About 6 days back there was an article in the "West Australian" about a hiccup with the Victorian sniffer dogs.
The packaged drugs used in their training had been supplied by the Aust. Fed. Police and thus used as the norm in all training and testing.
Unfortunately, it was found the operational dogs were only competent at detecting talcum powder, which was all that the so-called packages contained.
A police spokesman said that though highly embarrassing, the bright side of the situation was that the dogs would be very handy at locating missing babies.
Nobody addressed how the talcum powder could have been substituted for the drugs.
So we have reason to be scared, real scared, at the competence (and possibly the integrity??) of those we charge with our safety.

    GZ
