The recent feud of the Somali President and his PM was mainly over Governance though the issue of Shoddy oil and Gas deals were next on the line.

The Federal Parliament and President will need to clean out the mess Gedi and of course recalcitrant states e.g Puntland and Somaliland have caused on the reputation of the Somali government on the Oil and gas sector.

With Gedi gone the next target on governance and accountability will be non other than Muse Hirsi the leader of Puntland who has given illegally property that belonged to Reputable International Oil companies that declared force majeure in late 80's.Conocco Phillips and Agip have contacted the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and soon the Range deal might be thrown out just like White Nile was thrown out by the National petroleum Commission(NPC) in Sudan.
