Jb has held up well the past week given the retail sell off post djs and kmd updates.
It seems that jb may in fact be one of the retailers that has embraced online buying.
When u go to their website you will see not online are they selling cameras from o'seas, they r selling an online music store, and now I noticed they are selling heavily discounted items (obviously dated stock).
I compare jb with one of the fastest growing online stores in the country (eljo) who sell not only televisions, but nespresso etc, and their prices are more expensive than jb for bulk items like tv.
Obviously the price of tv has fallen which forces them to sell extra, however, I do not think u can compare a jb with a dj or myer etc.
Management are obviously alot better and have taken online business far more seriously.
I am a believer that it is the strength of the $a which is obviously affecting retail. When it falls back to its real value, then it will be interesting to see how things go
