Have you considered a Full frame sensor ?

I had a C sensor before, and found that even on auto mode, it takes better shots in low light, especially without light. which i prefer.

Lens for Full frame are more expensive. but they can go through ongoing camera bodies.

For travel, maybe the new smaller bodied full frames may be wise.

Good cameras are long term investments, and starting off wrong is expensive.

    Cheers
