Cyp shareholders have had this problem going back to the effort of mcnamm (and others - including I believe sector - as his posts said he was part of that effort) to get some accountablility. They flip on each other for personal gain.
The directors can use that - they can offer more shares cheaply with options for whoever is dill enough to want to keep doubling down (keeping them around) and dilute the others.
This is why character not just money or amount of shares actually matters.
One cannot go to the court of equity with unclean hands. One cannot stand shoulder to shoulder with an invertebrate unless one is very very short and then who you are standing against will step over you.
