It’s been a whopping increase in the last reported week too - shorts up more than any other stock and by a country mile (up 5.82% - the next closest in the Top 100 most shorted stocks was Megaport at a 2.11% one week increase). This strongly suggests to me we’re still a long way to go from the bottom
Shorts are counting on that cap return being completely abandoned and less than stellar results in the half yearly. The sequence & packaging of the MCS sale & proceeds, the consolidation and the TXMD purchases has been a strategic cockup on a grand scale imo. It’s really quite mind boggling to me how they’ve managed to shoot themselves in the foot here when these events could’ve instead been timed and structured to grow confidence & support rather than destroy it.
