I really appreciate what you have written, but must take exception to this bit "All in all, the current challenges we face were mostly anticipated and addressed during the planning stage."
To be frank they knew how hard the rock was, knew what needed to be specced and knew how it needed to be operated. They failed and it has cost millions. I suppose the only question now is what they have done about it.
