no doubt africa has risks - but it amazes me that australia is held up as a low risk development environment, where state govt can and do introduce additional royalties and approval red tape, landowners get supported by federal funds to challenge licensed developers incurring cost and schedule blowouts, where some want nothing to happen because its change or counter to their ideology and still we discount foreign fiscal regimes as being riskier. africa maybe not over-risked but australia seems under-risked.
