Before I comment I, to be clear I am not a holder of this stock anymore.

I have heard the same thing about NAB's rights over the loan book.... If it makes any difference anymore to shareholders I dont know.

One thing that does strike me as odd, is if NAB was not interested in the company at all, why would they be assisting the marketing of more bonds, surely they publicity they would receive i RHG was to fail wouldnt be worth the profit they would make from marketing the monds.
