Could well be squidd... anything is possible in that part of the world my friend.
But my common sense is kicking me on the "u know what" - because IF we do that in OZ, the OZ Citizens will be screaming to death, questioning the drastic or significant reduction of ownership from 35% to less than 15% (not to mention 11% atm).
Besides, that would be no conscience of any country's Citizen(s) to get or allow their mineral resources being dug out and just accepting a "meager 11% ownership of the mine" (or farm as some would put it).
Usually underdeveloped countries demand at around 30%. Some even want 40%, and some are quite generous at 25% before you can go there and partake of their mineral wealth.
That's on top of the employment, taxes, etc. that comes with the whole deal.
It would be nice to see what's actually going to be agreed on in the Mbalam Convention really. And of course, it'd be nice to see what actually the "official side" of the Cameroon Government as well.
We'll see. We have to put the pieces together and make sense out of it.
Cheers mate and have a good evening.
RVINTL.
