Do you mean:
Someone who denies there is climate?
Someone who denies climate changes?
Someone who denies the historic record empirically show causes changes that are above pre-industrial variation?
Someone who denies that we know what causes changes to the climate?
Someone who denies that CO2 is the main driver - ie AGW is overstated?
Someone who denies that the likely additional CO2 will not cause catastrophic changes to the climate - CAGW is overstated?
Someone who denies that sweeping economic and social changes like the GND are needed to combat climate change?
Someone who denies it is prudent for Australia to act alone on these sweeping changes while the much larger carbon emitters are growing their emissions?
Someone who denies a particular tax or action is prudent or disagrees with cost/benefit?

You missed the basic premise of my argument:

That is: they cannot be given a platform if all they are doing is spreading doctrine from denier think tanks who gain financially by delaying action on climate change.

They should not be given a platform if their scientific arguments are soundly debunked.
