One of the laws passed last week makes it illegal and punishable by prison to wear a large hat or any form of protective head gear. It apparently makes the police batons more effective.
In answer thousands of Kiev citizens (young and old alike) can now be seen walking round the city with colanders, pots, pans and any number of kitchen conatiners on their heads in direct contravention of this bizarre new law.

These people are using humour to show Ukraine's government how ridiculous it has become. People like this deserve our respect and support imo.
