Saw an older woman wearing what looked like an aluminium mixing bowl as headgear in a photo at one of the demo's a day or two ago and had thought it rather odd. All makes sense now. Funny pics of yours.
Perhaps Yanukovych may wake up and stop his ego making matters worse for himself, but somehow, given that he is clearly so attracted to the power of his political position, that seems a bit 'like pigs might fly' too.
Maybe with a little more time and protest enlargement, it could be suggested to him that there be an election to sort out what it is the majority of the population want. His current leanings seem so old-Kremlin that they are hardly going to end in any form of detente.
