There we go again…another thread with a misleading title insinuating something is shady with the company rather than simply asking a question in the general thread…

Hope you are not another alter ego of the usual suspects trying to down ramp and waste everyone's time and energy.

I give you the benefit of the doubt for now but ffs work on your title next time you have a question

1- As already discussed, If you look at lithium prices for the same period you would see the same curve. The whole lithium industry went underground in 2018 when demand did not pick up. The difference now is that the change is politically driven and de carbonization is required when you look at the effects of climate warming around the globe right now

2 - here is the last extract i could find with net positions

3 - IM3NY is a consortium with investments from multiple entities (MNS, Riverstones Holding, Boston Energy and C4V), all but MNS are US based if not mistaken and also have skin in the game. MNS providing funding is not an act of generosity, it is by design in exchange for ownership.

4 - I might not be the best person to answer that as im an holder for the last 6 months or so but seems to me they got desperate at some point as they were trying to collect funds in a declining lithium market and where getting nowhere. They recently cleaned house from people who did not deliver on expectations and are now building a solid and diverse team with engineers, fund managers, esg specialists with political ties, c levels with industry credentials. Personally I’ve no objection with cleaning ranks from time to time and let go of people who oversold themselves and are not delivering.

5 - Im not sure about the extend of the their relationship during the PhD but my understanding is that the collaboration is still on going through

This is what i could find: « Dr. Upreti has been receiving a continued mentorship from Prof. Whittingham and C4V gets extensive support from the infrastructure at Binghamton University, including the NorthEast Center for Chemical Energy Storage (NECCES) and the Binghamton Incubator Program with the Start-Up Suites and the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator for its continued research in new, ground-breaking and environmentally sustainable battery cell technologies.«

Ive also found statements in the press from Whittingham about IM3 so it seems to me to confirm’that he is still involved but i don’t know admittedly to which extend

    Hope this helps
