Given that QuickFee's business is dependant on their software I would expect them to have a team of developers to maintain and improve the product. However, after some research I found that;
- The company has 29 employees listed on LinkedIn; of these zero are software developers
- The software (named Odyssey) was developed by a company called Red Planet Software
- Red Planet Software only has a single developer listed on LinkedIn (who is based in the Philippines)
- Odyssey has been sold to many companies, some of which appear to be direct competitors with QuickFee
- Eg, a quick Google search found FeeSynergy and Elantis who both use Odyssey
Of course this doesn't mean QuickFee can't still become a successful company. But I'm skeptical of their future if they don't have the capacity to improve their core product and anyone can buy the exact same software and start competing with them.
