Pmthiru, thanks for sharing your personal story. I suspect you are not alone in the mistakes you have made - I have made plenty as well, and I know others have too.
I also know what you mean about indexes & forex. I've had several attempts at them and they keep beating me - I just havent figured them out yet. The same rules that work for me very well with stocks just havent cut it in those areas.
