One of the big issues in the media today, is confirmation of the strength of the Chinese economy, and particularly their industrial segment.
In a just a few years it is calculated that China's economy will eclipse the U.S.
If we look at the Santos presentation we can see that they will be powering much of this growth by LNG - to that end the Chinese are building multiples of LNG re-gasification terminals.
The Santos preso detailed the huge growth expected in Asian demand for LNG.
The point is that the gas that ESG can certify will have a market long-term.
The CSG in Qld will be targetted for the Qld LNG projects, simply because it is closer (less transport cost).
So ESG gas will be available for the domestic market (particularly NSW) and probably LNG thru Newcastle.
So Yaq's comments on the reserves are welcome given the reported demand from Asia as detailed in the Santos preso.
I am holding for medium-term.
