Chinese investors may have had a stake in the company for quite a few years and this is their first chance to profit.
6.5c per share when converted to their own currency might still look very attractive if they have been a part owner since the company was set up and could be a good profit for them.
The only thing that bothers me is that manyof the substantial holders in the initial notice of substantial holding statement gave the same address the virgin islands in the notice details. So I suspect that some / many of the substantial holders of shares that came out of escrow are related to each other in some way.
