I have personally done some reference checks(four references -4-).... on Dr Bogacz, where he is has worked as a Consultant Geologist for RIO TINTO and also has worked professionally; with interests professionally on the Telfer Gold mine which is the Core Newmont Mining Asset.
I do not know any of the MTN Directors as friends or associates. I had never met, or spoken to them before doing the references.
I am now, as a result of my own due diligence, an investor With MTN.
(1) My enquiires re Dr Bogacz came up with nothing but high praise and affirmation of Dr Bogacz's integrity, favourable comments as to his Skill and Expertise as a Specialist and high technical level of expertise Geologist, and person of integrity AND mainly also, as a "get the job done" hard working professional, who rigorosly focusses on the Job/Assignment at hand.
The word and phrase "Focus" and...." as a In Depth analytical type" came up regularly in my investigations...

Scimitar Expands South Australian Uranium Portfolio.
Scimitar Resources Ltd (ASX Code SIM) has applied for a further Exploration Licence in the northern Flinders Ranges of South Australia, 500 km north of Adelaide.
The new licence application (ELA 2005/0498) of 88km2 covers parts of the..... prospective Mount Painter Complex, 5km to the south west of the..... Mt Gee.... uranium REE deposit where .....Marathon Resources Ltd (ASX Code MTN) has released a JORC compliant resource containing 33,200 tonnes U3O8.
The Mount Painter Complex is comprised of lower Proterozoic sediments, including quartzite and conglomerate units which are intruded by middle Proterozoic granites.
Several uranium deposits, including.... Mount Gee, Radium Ridge and Mount Painter are hosted by hematite breccias to the north east of Scimitar’s licence application.
The uranium enriched hematite breccias occur along the northeast trending Paralana Fault zone.
Scimitar’s licence application covers the southern extension of the Mount Painter Complex and the continuation of the Paralana Fault zone.
Reactivation of this fault is believed to be an important factor in the localisation of the uranium mineralisation at the Mount Gee and Mount Painter breccia hosted uranium deposits.
Previous exploration of the area has focussed on Rare Earth Elements (REE), gold and copper.
Scimitar intends to conduct a review of previous exploration and to explore for uranium mineralisation similar in style to that at Mount Gee.
