******some more facts!!!****** 1. Marathons Address on their Website is the same as Lynch and Meyer's (solicitors)

    2. The Paralana Lease was previously owned by Bonanza Gold, who spent a lot of money and found no gold.

    3. Bonanza Gold was controlled and owned by key people at Lynch and Meyer.

    4. 3 out of 5 Directors John Santich, Sam Applyard and William Latimer are all employees of Lynch and Meyer

    5. Marathon tried to float november last year and failed.
and made no mention of the Uranium deposit at Paralana.

    6. Marathon floated over subscribed after rehashing its prospectus to include Uranium.

    Other previosly acknowledged facts

    1. Mt Gee, Painter, Armchair, Hodgkinsons are all inside Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary. The South Australian Government have tried to purchase Arkaroola from the Sprigg family to turn it in to a national park but the Spriggs refuse to sell.
The Sanctuary Status acknowledges the importance of this area even if it is privately owned.

    2. Arkaroola is a premier tourist location in the Flinders Ranges, and one of the largest tourist attractions in South Australia.

    3. The Ridge Top Track to the famous Sillars Lookout goes right over the top of Mt Gee.
If Mt Gee, Armchair, or Painter is mined it will be clearly visible from South Australias most famous lookout

    4. Coulthards Lookout named after an aboriginal elder and whose relatives live nearby, has very significant importance to the aboriginies, It overlooks Mt Gee, Painter and Armchair.

    5. The Mountains and Creeks around Arkaroola were created by Arkaroo, the aboriginal dream time serpent.
The legend is still very strong and forbids local aboriginies to even look at certain mountains.

    6. Paralana Hot Springs are the only radioactive springs in Australia and have been studied by NASA, and many others for its very unique eco system.
Any change to the ground water or runoff especially from Hodgkinson could be devastating.

    7. The Area is home to a large population of the endangered Yellow footed Rock Wallaby

    8. As pointed out by Pierpont and acknowledged by John Santich. The grades are poor.
(While other projects could be economical at these grades. Marathons resource is in Hard Rock and is between 35-100m deep) So removing the hardrock overburden and disposing of it suitably will cost big bucks. As opposed to an insitu leach plant that just needs to drill in sand.
At current prices grades of 0.15% are required for Hard Rock Uranium at this depth to be economic. Versus 0.02% for insitu leach.)
See ERA's annual General report for a little guidance

    9. A government enquiry was initiated regarding environmental damage to Mt Gee, and disrespect to the local aboriginal people in the 70's

    10. CRA used Heli Rigs to reduce environmental damage after the enquiry.

    11. To diamond drill deep holes will require large drill rigs. The current track system is totally inadequate to enable large drill rigs to site.
MTN will have to justify all earthworks, to the government, Aboriginies and people of South Australia.
It is very unlikely that it would get approved.

    12. The Heritage Clearance was arranged previously through Bonanza Gold. (it is very unlikely that Bonanza Golds Drilling program will match the requirements of Marathon's) Any changes will require Marathon to have its heritage clearances reassesed.

I am sure the Lawyers of Lunch and Munch are very happy to receive proceeds from the float.

This will never get of the ground for so many reasons.
    Stop dreaming.

Go find a Uranium Company that is searching for an Olympic Dam Style deposit or a company that is looking at a decent Paleochannel for insitu leaching.

The best Company for Olympic Dam Style deposit are
    MEP

The best SA Company for Paleochannels
    CUY

The first new Uranium Deposit to be mined in Australia is owned by AGS. It will be an extension of the existing Beverly operations. It will cause minimal environmental damage, and cost a minimal amount of money to develop and it can pass all current government legislation.
