I lived and worked at the neighbouring Mt. Fitton Talc Mine and Paralana Slate Quarry and have followed events at Mt. Gee with some interest ( and subscribed to the Marathon float on the basis of its Mt. Gee tenements ).
Goldstream GDM certainly came a cropper there when they tripled their share price after their Mt Gee drilling. Then a court case with a local prospector forced them to hand back the Exploration Licence to him in an out of court settlement. GDM's share price plummeted from apx. $1.00 to the 30's and I heard that the Adelaide stockbroker controlling the stock lost his clients a fortune.
No wonder there are certain people out there who don't want to see Mt. Gee and that prospector succeed.
When drilling begins in a couple of weeks this stock will shift.
