In this day and age , shouldn't we have the ability to harness all weather conditions for all our household energy needs. Sun. wind. rain - you name it, it can be harnessed with current tech. Every individual dwelling could do this if the energy cartel was disbanded. I reckon we subsidise alot of industral energy-use in our household power bills. And then we pay again when we buy our goods, which have a energy cost built into the price.
Alot of earth-saving technolgy is availble right now (and some has been available for centuries), but its all tied up in political/ big business knots.
